
Taken from a 19th Century German text this traditional Augsburger lager uses a 12 hour mash followed by a more traditional boil and lager fermenation to produce a beer that is both complex and super easy drinking. A generous pitch of Fuggles hops adds a gentle bitterness to complement the bready maltiness from the long mash. Unfiltered, the beer has a slight haze and a deep golden colour. A beer to be savoured.
