Thornbridge jumped at the chance to work with the brilliant team at Vault City. In Bakewell, they decided to brew something rooted in the `classic style - a crisp, clear west coast IPA.
Using the experimental HBC522 from Yakima Chief, which tastes a lot like a classic american 'C' hop, bursting with orange, grapefruit and pine. To compliment this, they added strata, for its huge layers of vibrant tropical fruit.
