
A beefed up traditional Scotch Ale recipe with 9 different malts, refiners syrup and molasses, then fermented with raisins and dates. Half finished in Whisky barrels and half in bourbon barrels.
This is a smooth, complex and vinous beer with strong oak vanillins, fruity esters and warm spicy phenolics, resulting in a taste somewhat reminiscent of an oloroso sherry.
